The questions we're asked most. If yours isn't here, write to us at the bottom.
How does Spoonfed build my meal plan?
You tell us how you eat — diet, allergies, ingredients you'd rather avoid, and how many
you cook for. We write a week of dinners around those constraints, check each recipe
against safe cooking temperatures, and build the shopping list from the finished plan.
Is it safe to cook from an AI-written recipe?
Every recipe passes a cooking-safety check before you ever see it, against USDA minimum
internal temperatures for the ingredients involved. A recipe that fails is corrected or
rewritten; if it still fails, it is never shown to you. We also flag allergens that can
hide in shop-bought ingredients like pesto, curry paste, or stock — those depend on which
product you buy, so we tell you rather than guess.
What if I have allergies?
Tell us during onboarding or in your profile and we re-apply them to every single recipe
we write — not once at the start of a session, but on every request. Ingredients that
directly conflict are never used. Ingredients that might hide an allergen are flagged
for you to check.
Do I need to create an account?
You can build a week on this site without one. To keep it, cook from it, and manage it
you'll need an account — which is just your email address and a six-digit code. There
are no passwords in Spoonfed at all.
What's free, and what's Pro?
The free tier includes 2 meal plans and
10 conversations with Sage each month,
plus unlimited saved recipes and grocery lists. Pro removes those limits and covers
everyone in your household.
Can my family share my plan?
Yes. A household shares plans, grocery lists and favourites, and one Pro subscription
covers up to 6 people. Everyone in a
household has the same authority over its plans and lists.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions are billed through the App Store or Google Play, so you cancel in your
device's subscription settings. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, under Settings. Deleting removes your account and its content — plans,
lists, recipes and preferences. It cannot be undone.
